Visitors can place their bets at one of several betting stations located throughout the attraction. Bets start at 100 yen (about $1) and go up to 10,000 yen (about $100). The top prize is 100 million yen (about $1 million).

So far, Gamedreamers has not released any figures on how well Akiba of the Dead is doing, but Kondo says he is happy with how it has been received. "A lot of people have been coming back to try their luck again," he says. "We may not have hit our goal yet, but we're getting there."
